The Grinns Tale
The UX Team at Nexon was heavily involved in prototyping and user testing The Grinns Tale. The first in-house developed game from Nexon America. Our team had an opportunity to bring in users much earlier in the development process than we before. We worked closely with the Babylon development team to develop a playable paperprototype of the core mechanics and storyline of the game. UXD brought in players to test the mechanics and get their feedback. Though it at first seemed like an alternative way of testing a video game, the users quickly got immersed in the session and provided important feedback on various elements of the game. After the sessions our team and the The Grinns Tale development team worked together to find new opportunities and solutions based on the users inputs.
